UN-Tuna Pâté

Monster Salad with UN-Tuna Pâté Salad: boston lettuce, brown, red and yellow tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, carrots, avocado. Topped with Simple Tahini Salad Dressing.
INGREDIENTS
  • 3/4 cup raw sunflower seeds (pre-soaked)
  • 1/2-1 tsp celtic sea salt (to taste, I use 1 tsp)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1/4 (of an onion) finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 (of a stalk of celery) finely chopped celery
  • 1/8-1/4 cup water

Put everything EXCEPT the onion and celery into your food processor and chop it. Chop it until it takes on a pate consistency.
Add 1/8 to about 1/4 cup of water, note the creamy texture.

Pour mixture into your bowl, fold in the finely chopped onion and celery.
Then eat! Yep UN-Tuna is just that simple!

TIP
(1) Because the water adds the "cream" you do not need to add anything to make it creamy, its doing the job all by itself.
(2) This is a great inexpensive dish to take to a potluck, or even to fix at the lat minute, you know, for those rare occasions when people stop by because their in your neighborhood. *smile*
UNTuna Pâté on Celery, this is a great appetizer
