Nuts-A-Rella Cheesy Kale Chips

Nuts-A-Rella Cheesy Kale Chips

INGREDIENTS:

Making the Nuts-A-Rella Cheesy Kale Chips
  • Clean, de-stem (optional), chop your kale.
  • Massage 2-3 tablespoons of hemp oil (as needed) into your kale. Do this until every single ounce of each and every piece is covered in oil. You will know because each piece would be shiny.

  • Take the NUTS-A-Rella Cheese and pour it repeatedly all over the kale pieces until they are saturated...and massage in, adding more as needed. I typically add as much until its literally sitting in little puddles on top of the kale. This way, I know I have the cheesy flavor I want and need.
  • Put them on the dehydrator in a spacious manner...and dehydrate for 4 to 6 hours on 115 degrees. (dehydration times may vary)

TIPS:
(1) You don't want to pile these on top of one another. Space these out so that it will allow a quick drying time, but also so that it could dry thoroughly.
(2) You'll know when they are ready when you pick one up and it feels like a chip. All moisture should be gone. When you bite into it, it should be a crispy, flaky feel and the cheesy taste should dance in your mouth.
(3) Sprinkle a little salt on top of the kale before it dries in the dehydrator. This will add a little extra salty flavor to them.

If you loved the first Cheesy Kale Chips recipe I posted know these taste just as good except the flavor is kicked up a notch! It takes on a slightly different flavor because of the cheese used. It really tastes like parmesan is dried on top. Try it and let me know what you think.
