Mustard Orange Juice Green Smoothie

Mustard Orange Juice Green Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cups of mustard greens
  • 6-7 large oranges (peeled)
  • 1 cup of water
Makes about 40-45 ozs.

Put everything in the Vitamix blender and blend until its smooth and creamy.

Now I know you're wondering...how in the heck is this smoothie called "juice"...well, because it tastes just like orange juice...its slightly spicy and flavorful because of the mustard greens, but the oranges take over and dance around making you want to gulp this down instead of sipping on it.

TIPS:
(1) If you peel your oranges with a knife, you can cut only the outer layer off, leaving the white part of the orange, that has a lot of nutrients.
(2) This Recipe sounds better as a juice? Then simply run it through your juice (without the water)...No juicer? No problem! Blend in your Vitamix. Then strain through a nut milk bag or a paint strainer bag...and pour in your storage container. For detailed instructions on making juice in the blender click here.
